I liked the. Idea on the foil paper and the useful tip. Also, wasn’t sure if this is your first video but you did a great job – was clear, concise, no “ums” in your speech, and you look great with the longer hair!😀
I’ve been to Alaska on a cruise and you are going to love it.

  2. Great tip, Mary! I just used the Big Shot on a foil sheet and had that problem…this will really help! One question….with the copy paper do you still need a “clean” top plate or will it work as well with a well used top plate?

  3. Mary,
Thanks, that was a great tip–would never have thought of using copy paper to prevent ‘scarring;! Now, I just have to remember it!
Congratulations on earning the Alaska cruise–you deserve it!

  4. Thanks, Anne Stone. I appreciate your kind words. This is not my first video. You can see more in the Stamping Videos Category on the right. Hope to see you at a Creative Escape Weekend or stamp class!

  5. Sharon, I’m glad you find this tip helpful. Very good question you asked as most of us probably don’t have extra cutting plates just lying around. Give the copy paper tip a try with one of your well worn cutting plates on top. I have tried it, and often it works just fine. We used one that was not new but not terribly worn as our top layer in stamp class today. All our leaves cut from foil sheets came out smooth and shiny!
