Check out this awesome Fun Fold Card I received from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and friend Sue Thomas. This pocket card layout is new to me. I love it, and would like to share it with others too.
In this video replay below of my February 26th Facebook Live, I'll show you how to make this style of fun fold card by CASEing the lovely card above that Sue sent me. I chose to use the same Stampin' Up! Sand & Sea Suite she did. You'll see, however, that while we both used many of the same products with the same card layout, our cards are each unique and different. I hope you enjoy watching this video and find it inspiring and helpful in creating beautiful cards of your own.
Pocket cards are always fun to make and are a fun surprise for those who are lucky enough to receive one.
I love all of the gorgeous coordinating images and colors of the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper.
The Seaside Shells and Opal Rounds are just the right embellishments for the finishing touches on this pocket fold card and coordinating envelope.

Take a look at two styles of masculine cards I created with the Well Suited Suite by Stampin' Up! One card is created using several coordinating papers from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper pack. The other card is a fun fold card and features one piece of the Well Suited Designer Series Paper but showcases BOTH sides of it. Take a look at my video replay below of a recent Facebook Live I did. You'll get all the dimensions you need plus some tips for successful card making as you view my video demonstration of these two masculine cards. Of course, these layouts are perfect for any and all of your favorite Designer Series Papers.
I absolutely LOVE this Well Suited Suite but most especially its Designer Series Paper. It's perfect for making masculine cards to celebrate the special men and boys in your life. It's bright. It's bold. It's fun. I created two a great cards featuring this fabulous Well Suited Designer Series Paper. This card layout is awesome for any and all of your favorite Designer Series Papers.
Look at all the details, in addition to the many pieces of DSP, I used on this card to make it fun and interesting! Twine in Basic Gray & Night of Navy, Matte Black Dots, and card stock punched with the Double Oval Punch. They're all great separately, but together, they're a party celebrating your special guy!
The card below features one of my new favorite fun folds because I love being able to feature BOTH sides of my favorite Designer Series Papers as often as I can. This is another great card layout that will work with any and all of your favorite Designer Series Papers by Stampin' Up!
A little stamping on the inside of this fun fold card makes for a fun surprise!

Today's post features a demonstration of a Bottom Fold Card. It's unique and fun and easy to make. In the video replay of my February 19th Facebook Live, you'll see me make a bottom fold card and see 2 more I made all featuring the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. You'll even see a demonstration of using our new Gilded Leafing with Tear & Tape for an easy, beautiful embellishment on your handmade cards. So take a seat and enjoy this video which I hope you will find so helpful and inspiring that you'll want to make some bottom fold cards of your own.
Card Dimensions:
Card base = 6 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on long side, fold on score line.
Layer inside card = 5 1/4" x 4"
DSP for front flap = 5 1/4" x 2"
Stitched Nested Die Flap = Use 2nd largest die.
Adding Gilded Leafing Embellishment to the top and bottom of my Basic White card stock was easy to do using Tear & Tape. No heat tool needed for Gilded Leafing technique.
The sentiment used on this card is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. It's filled with wonderful sentiments for so many different reasons for sending cards and spreading love and caring.
For the card below, I used the same paper from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper pack but switched out the Merry Merlot and Basic White card stocks for Night of Navy and Very Vanilla. I like both pairs of card stock with this particular DSP equally well.
Once again, I used Gilded Leafing and Tear & Tape to add a touch of elegance to my handmade card.
Poppy Parade is a wonderfully bright and cheerful color to coordinate with the two paper patterns you see on the birthday card below. These too are from the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.
Gold Glitter Enamel Dots are my embellishment of choice for this birthday card. To me, they scream "celebrate".

It just adds to the fun! It's easy to make a plain kraft bag colorful and fun for gift giving using Stampin' Up! products.

Have you ever tried 2-step stamping? Well, if you never have (or if you love it), you need A Touch of Ink Sale-A-Bration stamp set. This Photopolymer stamp set makes 2-step stamping easy and FUN with it's beautiful line images and solid shapes for adding touches of color. You'll love the flowers, leaves, butterfly, and hummingbird images to mix and match. In this video replay of my February 3rd Facebook Live, I'll show you how easy 2-step stamping is plus show you how to add multiple colors to a single stamp.
Cutting Dimensions:
Card bases in Petal Pink, So Saffron, Pool Party = 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" on long side, fold in half.
Card stock strips in same colors = 1 1/2" x 4 3/4", cut bottom end at an angle as shown.
Fine Art Floral DSP in coordinating colors to card bases = 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White for inside of cards = 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Stitched Circles = use largest circle die from Stitched Shapes Dies
It's so easy to do 2-step stamping with a Photopolymer Stamp Set like A Touch of Ink. I love my Petal Pink butterfly and light Mossy Meadow leaves.
I love the simple message of HOPE.
So Saffron flowers on another pretty monochromatic card.
Pearl Basic Jewels add a subtle touch of bling to these cards.
Another beautiful monochromatic card, this time in Pool Party, to let a friend know they are thought of and loved.
Yes, you can add multiple colors to a single stamp image. I colored on the butterfly and hummingbird solid stamps with Stampin' Write Markers. I used Sponge Daubers and Classic Stampin' Pads to color the flowers. Be sure to view the video above to see me demonstrate each of these coloring techniques.

Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers - I just can't get enough of them. So many choices of DSP collections in an array of themes, images, colors, and patterns. Don't even ask me to name my favorite. I can't choose just one as my favorite. AND, yet, there is a common problem when I use my Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. Often times, I like many of you I'm sure, find it difficult to decide which side of the Designer Series Paper to use on my card or project. What's a paper crafter to do??? Well, in today's video, I have 3 solutions. 3 card layouts you can use to showcase BOTH sides of your Designer Series Paper. Yes, I said BOTH sides of the DSP. You don't have to choose. Hooray!
Please enjoy watching this video replay of a recent Facebook Live, then start creating with your favorite Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. And, if you come up with your own unique ways to showcase both sides of your DSP, be sure to share them!
Sweet raspberries in shades of Rich Razzleberry and a "book binding" fold make showcasing both sides of this paper easy and fun.
I snipped a 2" line from the center of the right edge to the middle of my DSP and folded back the corners to create this fun fold showing off both sides of my paper. It's unexpected, clever, and so easy!
I used a 3/4" x 4" strip of coordinating Designer Series Paper for an added touch to the inside of the card.
This sweet strawberry hello card was created using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Punch out 4 pieces of DSP and flip 2 over so everyone can enjoy both sides of this cheery DSP.
I love the coordinating Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set & Strawberry Builder Punch! Do you have yours?

It's true. Friends are like seashells, each unique and amazing and beautiful in their own way. Like seashells, we collect these friends through our life's journey and treasure them and the memories that brought us together through the years. There is so much to love about the Sand & Sea Suite in our January - June Mini Catalog but my favorite parts of it are the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle and Pearlescent Specialty Paper. These products combined with Sahara Sand card stock and foil sheets helped me create simple yet stunning cards, each slightly different.
Please enjoy this video replay of my January 21st Facebook Live. I hope you will be inspired to create and perhaps even learn something new as you view this video.
This first card couldn't be anymore simple. I cut a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper 5 1/4" x 4" and embossed it with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to my Sahara Sand card base. The card really shows off the details of this embossing folder. Simple and so very elegant.
The two cards below show a side-by-side comparison of my first card and my second card. Again, I started with a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper, this time cutting it to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I then die cut it using my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the large Seaside Seashells Die. Next, I placed my die cut paper into the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (matching up the shells, etc) and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine again. I then used my Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the die cut & embossed Pearlescent Paper to a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Sahara Sand Foil. Layers were then adhered to a Sahara Sand card base. I used Basic White card stock cut to 5 1/4" x 4" on the inside of the card.
Just love this sentiments. What a wonderful analogy.
Do you see the difference in each of the following 3 cards. The difference is the stamping. The first card (center front) was not stamped at all. On the second card (upper left), I "stamped off" each of the seashells with Sahara Sand ink. One the third card (upper right), I stamped each of the seashells in Sahara Sand ink at full strength. TIP: For the 2nd and 3rd cards, you want to die cut, then stamp shells, set ink with Heat Tool, and then emboss with 3d Seashells Embossing Folder.

Thanks for visiting Stampin' Peace with Mary Knabe. I appreciate you viewing today's post and hope you'll be back for more creative inspiration and project ideas.
There are so many reasons I love card making. I get to use amazing coordinating products in an array of fabulous colors and themes too numerous to name or count. I get to belong to a community of creative people who understand my love for stamping and paper crafting and inspire me to keep on stamping and creating. I get to express myself creatively and add my own personal touch to my correspondences. I get to inspire and teach others to enjoy stamping and paper crafting like I do. Best of all, card making keeps me spreading love, kindness, and happy thoughts in challenging times by sending the hand stamped cards I've made.
I made this beautiful set of cards to let friends and family they are thought of and loved. They feature the Hydrangea Hill Suite and Happy Thoughts Stamp Set - 2 of my favorite new products in the new January - June Mini Catalog. I hope you love these cards as much as I do. If so, you can download the Free Project Sheet I created for you.
So many beautiful details make this card AMAZING. Embossed card stock, Vellum, elegant sheer ribbon, and Pastel Pearls - I love them all. What a beautiful sentiment this is to send love and caring thoughts. I love that the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set (and so many others) have sentiments to coordinate for the outside and inside of our handmade cards.
