Are you counting the days 'til spring? I am. Everyday on my walk, I find little signs of spring - birds singing, buds on trees, geese flying back to the neighborhood ponds, green leaves and stems poking through the cold dirt. The days continue to get a little warmer and a little longer. All beautiful signs of spring and new life. Today's blog post features some of my favorite springtime products, the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set and coordinating Tulip Builder Punch along with the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack. In the following Facebook Live video replay, I demonstrate for a you a Fun Fold Card that is very easy to make and can be used for so many occasions. With the sentiments from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set, I made one sympathy card and one birthday card, both featuring the same products and same fun fold card layout. Take a look, then give this fun fold card layout a try. I think you're going to love it.
Card Dimensions:
Card Base = 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" on long side, then cut off 2 3/4" on one end only.
Designer Series Paper = 2 1/2" x 4" for front flap and 2 3/4" x 4" for inside.
Basic White = Cut 2 pieces 2 1/2" x 4".

I love this card. I had so much fun making it and sharing it on my February 8, 2021, Facebook Live in my Stampin' Peace VIP Group. I love it, first of all, because it is a fun fold card, more specifically, a POP-UP card! I promise you that after watching my video demonstration, you will see that making pop-up cards really is fun and really is easy. And everyone loves getting a pop-up card!
The second reason I love this card so much is that I made a picket fence using the Banners Pick A Punch. I was inspired to include a picket fence on this Darling Donkeys card by a card I saw created by one of my Merry Stampers Team Members, Avis Anderson. I thought it was so clever. I'm looking forward to making more picket fences on my cards and scrapbook pages thanks to Avis!
These are the cards created by Merry Stampers Teammate Avis Anderson that inspired me to make my own picket fence cards. I was so excited when the idea to combine the Darling Donkeys Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set with a white picket fence. Thanks for inspiring me, Avis! I see more picket fences in my future.
Our Stampin' Blends make coloring these Darling Donkeys easy and fun. They are my favorite coloring tool. HEE- HAW! Who would have guessed this sweet little donkey would be the pop-up surprise inside such a cute birthday card?
Another look at this darling card!

Pop-Up Cards. We all love them, but how do you make them you might ask. Today's post shows you how quickly and easily you can make your own pop-up cards. It's fun and easy to do when you follow along with my video demonstration. I hope you enjoy watching this Video Replay of my February 5th Facebook Live in my Stampin' Peace VIP Group and find it helpful in creating your own Pop-Up Cards! Trust me when I say the people who receive your pop-up cards will love them and be filled with delight and awe.
Black, White, and Real Red - a classic color combination for Valentine's Day and Love! The True Love Designer Series Paper is all black & white with floral prints on one side and geometric prints on the other side. Pair it with Real Red for classic Valentine cards as I did on these Pop-Up cards I made for my daughters or add a punch of your favorite Stampin' Up! color!
A Pop-Up card can be made simply as I demonstrated in my video above, but it sure says "WOW" to the recipient of your pop-up card.
The stitches on the banner, the scallops on the black heart, and a single rhinestone adds lots of pretty detail to the inside of this pop-up card.
I made the treat boxes below for my daughters to coordinate with their pop-up cards above. I used True Love Designer Series Paper with the Love You Always Treat Boxes and filled with chocolates and a Graeters Ice Cream git card.

Have you ever tried 2-step stamping? Well, if you never have (or if you love it), you need A Touch of Ink Sale-A-Bration stamp set. This Photopolymer stamp set makes 2-step stamping easy and FUN with it's beautiful line images and solid shapes for adding touches of color. You'll love the flowers, leaves, butterfly, and hummingbird images to mix and match. In this video replay of my February 3rd Facebook Live, I'll show you how easy 2-step stamping is plus show you how to add multiple colors to a single stamp.
Cutting Dimensions:
Card bases in Petal Pink, So Saffron, Pool Party = 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" on long side, fold in half.
Card stock strips in same colors = 1 1/2" x 4 3/4", cut bottom end at an angle as shown.
Fine Art Floral DSP in coordinating colors to card bases = 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White for inside of cards = 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White Stitched Circles = use largest circle die from Stitched Shapes Dies
It's so easy to do 2-step stamping with a Photopolymer Stamp Set like A Touch of Ink. I love my Petal Pink butterfly and light Mossy Meadow leaves.
I love the simple message of HOPE.
So Saffron flowers on another pretty monochromatic card.
Pearl Basic Jewels add a subtle touch of bling to these cards.
Another beautiful monochromatic card, this time in Pool Party, to let a friend know they are thought of and loved.
Yes, you can add multiple colors to a single stamp image. I colored on the butterfly and hummingbird solid stamps with Stampin' Write Markers. I used Sponge Daubers and Classic Stampin' Pads to color the flowers. Be sure to view the video above to see me demonstrate each of these coloring techniques.

Thanks for viewing today's blog post. Do something creative everyday, and color your world beautiful! It's good for you and for others you touch with your creativity.
Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers - I just can't get enough of them. So many choices of DSP collections in an array of themes, images, colors, and patterns. Don't even ask me to name my favorite. I can't choose just one as my favorite. AND, yet, there is a common problem when I use my Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. Often times, I like many of you I'm sure, find it difficult to decide which side of the Designer Series Paper to use on my card or project. What's a paper crafter to do??? Well, in today's video, I have 3 solutions. 3 card layouts you can use to showcase BOTH sides of your Designer Series Paper. Yes, I said BOTH sides of the DSP. You don't have to choose. Hooray!
Please enjoy watching this video replay of a recent Facebook Live, then start creating with your favorite Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. And, if you come up with your own unique ways to showcase both sides of your DSP, be sure to share them!
Sweet raspberries in shades of Rich Razzleberry and a "book binding" fold make showcasing both sides of this paper easy and fun.
I snipped a 2" line from the center of the right edge to the middle of my DSP and folded back the corners to create this fun fold showing off both sides of my paper. It's unexpected, clever, and so easy!
I used a 3/4" x 4" strip of coordinating Designer Series Paper for an added touch to the inside of the card.
This sweet strawberry hello card was created using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Punch out 4 pieces of DSP and flip 2 over so everyone can enjoy both sides of this cheery DSP.
I love the coordinating Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set & Strawberry Builder Punch! Do you have yours?

Black and white with a pop of color! That's what this card featuring the True Love Designer Series Paper is all about. The True Love Designer Series Paper features floral prints and geometric patterns in black and white making it versatile enough to use for just about any reason or occasion. Add a pop of color to it, and it's even more amazing to create with.
For today's card, I combined the True Love Designer Series Paper and Always in My Heart Bundle. Pops of color were added with Sponge Daubers and ink pads in Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Highland Heather. Tearing the DSP and popping up the curvy Happy Anniversary banner with Stampin' Dimensionals are two ways of adding even more detail and interest to this pretty card celebrating love.
I hope you like this card. If you'd like to re-create this one or create one of your own similar to this, I've prepared a Free Project Sheet for you.
So many details make this card amazing - the geometric pattern of the DSP and floral print with added color, torn edge of the DSP, stitching and folds of the Highland Heather banner, simple Matte Black Dots. Simple things to make a stunning impact taking this card from good to great.

Thanks for visiting www.stampinpeace.com. Wishing you the happiest of days...today and always.
It's pretty cold in central Ohio this week and a snowstorm is on its way. Fortunately, my plan is to stay in and work and craft the weekend away. I'll even have a couple friends here for crafting. While I do enjoy a beautiful snowfall, I do dream of days by the beach with sunny skies, warm breezes, and shelling. Our Stampin' Up! Sand & Sea Suite make creating beach themed paper crafts easy and fun. Today's post shows a 2-page scrapbook layout featuring the fun beach and seashell products from the Sand & Sea Suite. My Facebook Live video replay below shows you just how I made this layout and includes and couple of different ways you can add color to the beautiful Pearlescent Paper I used for the seashells. I hope you'll take a look at the video and be inspired by my demonstration.
An alternate use for these scrapbook pages would be to frame and display them with your favorite beach day memories. They make wonderful gifts too.
I love the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper used as the sky and beach for this layout.
The Seaside Seashells 3D Embossing Folder has exquisite detail. Adding a bit of color with Blending Brushes and ink brings out the details even more.
The various colors of ink on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper bring the seashells and plants to life beautifully!

It's true. Friends are like seashells, each unique and amazing and beautiful in their own way. Like seashells, we collect these friends through our life's journey and treasure them and the memories that brought us together through the years. There is so much to love about the Sand & Sea Suite in our January - June Mini Catalog but my favorite parts of it are the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle and Pearlescent Specialty Paper. These products combined with Sahara Sand card stock and foil sheets helped me create simple yet stunning cards, each slightly different.
Please enjoy this video replay of my January 21st Facebook Live. I hope you will be inspired to create and perhaps even learn something new as you view this video.
This first card couldn't be anymore simple. I cut a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper 5 1/4" x 4" and embossed it with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to my Sahara Sand card base. The card really shows off the details of this embossing folder. Simple and so very elegant.
The two cards below show a side-by-side comparison of my first card and my second card. Again, I started with a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper, this time cutting it to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I then die cut it using my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the large Seaside Seashells Die. Next, I placed my die cut paper into the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (matching up the shells, etc) and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine again. I then used my Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the die cut & embossed Pearlescent Paper to a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Sahara Sand Foil. Layers were then adhered to a Sahara Sand card base. I used Basic White card stock cut to 5 1/4" x 4" on the inside of the card.
Just love this sentiments. What a wonderful analogy.
Do you see the difference in each of the following 3 cards. The difference is the stamping. The first card (center front) was not stamped at all. On the second card (upper left), I "stamped off" each of the seashells with Sahara Sand ink. One the third card (upper right), I stamped each of the seashells in Sahara Sand ink at full strength. TIP: For the 2nd and 3rd cards, you want to die cut, then stamp shells, set ink with Heat Tool, and then emboss with 3d Seashells Embossing Folder.

The Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate is one of those products that intrigues me yet intimidates me at the same time. I'm guessing that I am not the only one who feels this way. I figure, therefore, that it is time for me to step out of my comfort zone and play with this Mercury Glass Designer Acetate and see what I can come up. I hope showing you how I used it to make 3 different cards through the video replay below of my January 13th Facebook Live inspires you to do some creating with the fun new Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. Give it a try. I think you'll find it is a lot of fun to create with.
A simple circle of the fun and unique Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate makes this simple card striking. This is one of my favorite card layouts ever. I never tire of using it.
This is my favorite of all of these cards. This hydrangea can't help but bring smiles and spread happiness no matter the occasion or reason for sending this beautiful card.

I created the following 2 cards with 2 different techniques for adding multiple ink colors to a single stamp. Be sure to view the video above for technique demonstrations. They're fun and easy to do and make a big impact!
I colored my rubber stamp with Stampin' Write Markers in Melon Mambo, Bumblebee, Highland Heather, Soft Suede, and Shaded Spruce. Then I "huffed" on the stamp to remoisten the inks and stamped on Basic White card stock. I used Shaded Spruce card stock to back the Basic White card stock for this card.
I used a different stamping technique to add multiple ink colors to my Corner Bouquet stamp for this card. This technique used Sponge Daubers and Ink Pads to add the various colors to my rubber stamp. Be sure to "huff" or breathe heavily on the inked stamp to remoisten the inks before stamping on Basic White card stock.
For a simple change, I used Bumblebee card stock to back the Basic White card stock on this card.
I love the brightness of the Bumblebee bow on this card. It really pops!

The LOVE YOU ALWAYS SUITE COLLECTION is amazing! It's beautiful. It's elegant. It's versatile. I think you'll find that these projects are as easy to make as they are beautiful.
