Everything posted to this Private Facebook Group on October 3rd will be saved in the group for you to access throughout the entire month of October. We’d really like you to join us Live on October 3rd , though, as that’s a bit more fun.
Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to be inspired with creative ideas and participate in the fun of World Card Making Day.

'Tis the Season to be making your own Christmas cards, and I can offer you a little help with my latest Make It With Mary Monday Facebook Live video replay. The following demonstration features 2 different cards, each made with the same dimensions for the card stock and Designer Series Paper pieces. As you can see, though, I've chosen different colors based on the different patterns I chose in the "Tis the Season Designer Series Paper Pack. If you like to have a variety of small prints and patterns in your paper, this 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack is for you. The Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set is a great addition to any stamp collection as it provides so many different sentiment for the holiday season that also coordinate with a variety of punches.
Here are the cutting dimensions I gave for my September 21st Make It With Mary Facebook Live:
card base = 4 1/4" x 11 1/2", score at 5 1/2" on long side and fold in half
inside of card = First layer is 4" x 5 1/4". Second layer is 3 3/4" x 5".
DSP front of card = 4" x 5 1/4"
card stock strip = 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"
2 DSP squares = 2" x 2"
2 card stock squares = 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
I hope you enjoy this video and feel inspired to make some of these cards too.
Here are my 2 different cards side by side.
There are so many wonderful patterns and images in the 'Tis the Season Designer Series Paper it makes it hard to choose. Fortunately, with these cards I use 3 different ones.
This up close view makes it easy to see all the different elements and details of this card that make it fun and interesting.
I decide to layer my Whisper White card stock on top of Real Red card stock for the inside of this card, still plenty of room to stamp and image or sentiment and write a personal message.
My second card using the 'Tis the Season DSP with all the same cutting dimensions as the first card but with different papers and card stock colors and a different layout.
There are lots of festive details on this card also.

I, like all of you I'm sure, LOVE to get Happy Mail. This week I received a fabulous fun fold card created by my Merry Stampers Team Member Kiki Nickloes. And it came just in time last Thursday as I still needed to come up with an idea for my Friday Facebook Live. So I quickly CASE'd Kiki's miss you card and made a celebrate you card copying her fun fold. In my September 18th Facebook Live, I showed my sample card then demonstrated this wonderful fun fold. Both of my cards feature the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, but different stamp sets for different occasions. Check out my video, then get ready to make some new fun fold cards of your own.
The card below featuring the Way to Goat Stamp Set was sent to me by Merry Stampers Team Member Kiki Nickloes. It's the card I CASE'd for my September 18th Facebook Live Fun Fold Friday demonstration.
I love how Kiki's fun fold card shows off her Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper.
The Celebration card below is the first card I made by CASEing Kiki's card above.
I never tire of sunflowers. They always make me smile.
The photo below shows a picture of the card from the top. It's very similar to a standard Z-Fold card but with slightly different scoring dimensions.
The photo below shows the backside of my card.
The following card also uses the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper as did the card above.
I love the pops of Real Red in the holly berries and the sheer ribbon bow.
One of my all-time favorite Christmas sayings!
There so much beauty and interest to the card from the fun fold to the finishing details on the outside and inside of the card.
View of top of card.

This Tri-Fold Shutter card is so much fun to make. After making my first one, I just knew I had to share it. This video replay of my September 16th Facebook Live includes a step-by-step demonstration so you can make Tri-Fold Shutter Cards too. They may look intimidating, but with my demonstration and tips, you'll see that it's quite easy to make.
The Tri-Fold Shutter cards in this video and post feature the So Sentimental Bundle from the Annual Catalog and the very beautiful Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper which is just one product in the gorgeous Poinsettia Place Suite in our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. I love mixing and matching products from different catalogs and suites for more creative possibilities.
Enjoy my video demonstration then get to work making a Tri-Fold Shutter Card of your own. I'd love to have you share your creation with me and others on my Stampin' Peace VIP Facebook Group.
I love how these Tri-Fold Shutter Cards turned out that I have a feeling I'll be making lots more of them.
The sentiment and label shapes are from the So Sentimental Bundle, one of my all time favorites.
I used three different patterns from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper pack for this card. You can, however, use up to 4 or 5 different papers if you really want to show off your Designer Series Papers.
The Holiday Rhinestones and Forever Greenery Ribbon make great embellishments of these cards. Little details like these can make a good card great!
View of Tri-Fold Shutter card from the top.
This view shows the back of my Tri-Fold Shutter Card. I added some Whisper White card stock for writing a message. Tri-Fold Shutter cards are great for sending from a group of people. There's plenty of room on the back for lots of well wishes and signatures.
Do you see the slight difference in this card from the one pictured above? I introduced a 4th paper pattern for the center section of the card.

(Be sure to watch video demonstration above to see how I do this.)

The Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack is full of plaids of varying sizes and color combinations. This Designer Series Paper is so versatile and will keep you creating beautiful cards and paper crafts for holidays and special occasions all year long. In the following video demonstration, I show you a very easy 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder to make 3 unique cards. In addition to the Plaid Tidings DSP, I feature the lovely Borders Abound Stamp Set and Holiday Rhinestones. I think you'll enjoy the fall cards I've prepared and demonstrated in this video replay of my September 14th Facebook Live video replay.
Use the following photo for your cutting guide for this 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder.
I made these 3 fall cards with a 6" x 6" One Sheet Wonder design featuring Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper. This DSP pack is filled with fabulous plaids in an array of colors you can use throughout the entire year!
The stamped images on these cards are from the Borders Abound Stamp Set.
The new Banners Pick A Punch is a great tool for punching 2 different banner cuts on 1/2", 3/4", and 1" strips of card stock and Designer Series Paper.
Linen Thread and Holiday Rhinestones are wonderful embellishments to dress up these fall cards.
The card stock sizes on the inside of the first & third cards match the card stock layers on the front of the cards and sure do dress up the inside of the cards.

Autumn is just around the corner. As I look forward to the changing colors of the fall leaves here in Ohio, I am reminded that with change comes beauty, and like the leaves on our trees, sometimes it is ok to let go.
Take a look at this! My Fun Fold Gift Card Holder featuring the Magic in this Night Suite by Stampin' Up! is awesome, if I do say so myself. It's fun. It's spooky. It's creepy. It's even a bit elegant. There are so many interesting details making this gift card holder fun and fabulous. Enjoy my video demonstration from my September 9th Facebook Live, then give it a try. You can make these for any holiday or occasion by simply changing out the colors, paper, embellishment, and stamp sets to suit the theme. Be sure to share your creations with me. Feel free to show them off by posting to my Stampin' Peace Vip Facebook Group and/or Stamp 'n Scrap with Mary Knabe Facebook Business Page.
It's funny how I see so much beauty in this somewhat spooky card. I simply love the many fine details I see in the Designer Series Paper, stamped images, and other elements of this card.
It's easy to turn any card into a gift card holder by adding a "pocket" made from a strip of Designer Series Paper.
I colored the flowers on the Happy Halloween label with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write Marker & a Blender Pen and the leaves with Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker.
By pulling up the panel decorated with the Happy Halloween label, one discovers a "card within the card". There's plenty of room to add a personal message to your friend or loved one here.
I don't care all that much for living spiders, especially in my house, but think these stamped spiders creeping inside this card are kind of fun for Halloween.
I used the Label Me Lovely Punch to "take a bite" out of the Designer Series Paper when creating the pocket to hold a gift card.
The Cherry Cobbler color adds a fun pop of color - I'd say it's a pretty good "blood color" for this Halloween card with it's "Open If You Dare" greeting.
I'm looking forward to sending a Halloween surprise to some special people with these Magic in this Night Fun Fold Gift Card Holders next month.

The versatility of the Little Treats Bundle is fabulous with endless possibilities for creating treat boxes for special occasions and celebrations and holidays throughout the year. I have no doubt you'll get your money's worth from this bundle!
This video replay from my September 2nd Facebook Live will give you tips for cutting and assembling this Little Treats Boxes. You'll also see samples of the boxes for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I can't wait to make more for birthdays, other holidays, and special celebrations of all kinds.
I love all the details in these Halloween Little Treats Boxes - Magic in this Night Paper, Metallic Mesh Ribbon, and cute Black Glitter Spiders.
I love the versatility of the Little Treats Bundle. You can make these darling treat boxes for so many holidays.
Another Little Treats Box featuring products from the Magic In This Night Suite.
The Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper with a Gold Foil Paper Box make beautiful Little Treats Boxes for your Thanksgiving table favors. Don't you just love the little Acorn Trinket on this pretty box?
Fill these boxes with delicious chocolates or any of your favorite little treats.
I combined the Little Treats Bundle and products from Heartwarming Hugs Suite to make my Christmas Little Treats Box.

In my August 31st Make It With Mary Monday Facebook Live, I combined two of my favorite card making elements - fun fold cards and gift card holders. Take a look at my video replay to learn how to make it, then create a few of your own to use now or to make and use later, perhaps in the upcoming holiday season or for a future special occasion.

I'm slimming down - well, not physically. I wish I were slimming down, though, as that is definitely something I need to work on. BUT, I have given making slimline cards a try. In my August 24th Facebook Live, I demonstrated making a slimline card with the fabulous Freezin' Fun Bundle from our 2020 Holiday Catalog. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. It works great with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper also. Enjoy the video and then make and share a few slimline cards of your own.
FYI..Slimline cards can be mailed in standard business envelopes.
These 2 slimline cards are just 2 of the many cards I have enjoyed making with the Freezin' Fun Bundle.
Don't let the coloring make you shy away from purchasing this awesome stamp set. The animals and trees require minimal coloring. Plus Stampin' Up! has so many great coloring tools to choose from. I colored the images with my Stampin' Blends, but Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Pencils, and Blender Pens with ink pad are great choices too.
The Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon from our Annual Catalog is a nice compliment to the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper I used on my Freezin' Fun slimline cards. It's light and delicate so doesn't take away from all the details in the stamped & colored images or the Snowflake Splendor paper. Plus, because it's so fine, it's very easy to tie a bow with.
Don't forget to wow others by dressing up the inside of your cards as I did by adding a bit of ribbon and stamped sentiment and snowflakes.
Slimline Card Dimensions:
Card base is 7" x 8 1/2", fold at 3 1/2" on short side, fold in half. Slim card closed measures 3 1/2" x 8 /12".
Card stock layer is 3 1/4" x 8 1/4" for both inside and outside of card.
DSP on front & Whisper White on inside are both 3" x 8".
Use standard business envelope for mailing.
