Have I got a fabulous demonstration for you! Autumn is upon us and this card making demonstration is a wonderful reflection of this beautiful season. In this video, I demonstrate an easy Fun Fold card plus show you 2 different techniques to add a "wow factor" to you cards and paper crafts. I think you're going to love this card and the tips for using Gilded Leafing and Clear Embossing Powder to embellish your beautiful cards and make them stunning!
Early Espresso card base = 5 1/2" x 7 1/4", score & fold at 4 1/4" on long side. Small flap will be card front.
Very Vanilla inside = 5 1/4" x 4"
Designer Series Paper = 5 1/4" x 1 3/4" and 5 1/4" x 1"
Early Espresso card stock layer = 3 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Very Vanilla card stock for stamping = 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
This card made by my friend and Stampin' Up! upline, Susi Brunk, is what I CASE'd to create my own cards above.
Did you know you can get the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle FREE?
It's true. When you join my Stampin' Up! community through September 30th, you can choose a Bundle from our Holiday Mini Catalog absolutely FREE. Click on the following link to see all 12 bundle options: Download FLYER_SAB_JOIN_NA.
Now, let's do the math to see your saving when you purchase a Starter Kit. Our Starter Kit is completely 100% customizable and includes $125 in product of your choice! You pay just $99 + sales tax and it all ships to you FREE. So for approximately $107.50 (based on 7.5% sales tax where I live), you'd get $125 chosen by you PLUS a FREE BUNDLE from the Holiday Mini Catalog for an additional savings of $31.50 - $60.25 (depending on the free bundle you choose). WOW!
How much would that all cost you if you don't purchase the Starter Kit??? $125 product cost + $12.50 shipping + $10.31 sales tax (based on 7.5%) for a total of $147.81. That's a HUGE difference, and the total doesn't even include the cost of the additional Bundle that is free for those who join my team.

In case you haven't heard...there's going to be a wedding in my family. Andrea said yes to Jon's proposal on July 10th. I'm so excited for this couple. I've never seen my daughter as happy as she has been the last year and a half since she met Jon, and I'm happy to have Jon as a son-in-law.
Here is the card I made for Andrea and Jon congratulating them on their engagement. I used 2 brand new products from the 2021 Holiday Mini Catalog launching August 3rd - the Strong of Heart Stamp Set and Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I love the silver heat embossed imaged colored with Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
How blessed I am to be Mom to Andrea and her sister Emily, and now I get to welcome Jon to our family. I'm looking forward to lots of love and laughter as we plan for Andrea and Jon's wedding. 2022 will be a BIG year with the wedding and Emily's graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Wishing you a day filled with love and laughter. Thanks for visiting stampinpeace.com.
The Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Challenge for today was to showcase a new product from the 2021 Holiday Mini Catalog which launches on August 3rd. By viewing all the blogs in this blog hop, you'll get lots of Sneak Peeks of wonderful new products to come and great samples too.
My card below features 3 brand new products coming in our Holiday Mini Catalog - the Thinking Thanks & Peace Stamp Set, Silver Foil Specialty Paper, and White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I stamped with VersaMark Ink, added Silver Embossing Powder, then applied heat with our Heat Tool. The dove was colored with Clear Wink of Stella for a little shimmer. To me, this card shows the same simplicity and beauty as the Peace on Earth message itself.
I filled in the dove by coloring with Wink of Stella for a bit of shimmer. The White Glittered Organdy Ribbon is beautiful and adds a subtle bit of bling to this card.
And in case you are wondering, I refer to this Fun Fold as the Photo Album Fold or Scrapbook Album Fold. I've also heard it referred to as the Book Binding Fold.
Card base = 4 1/4" x 11", score at 4 1/4" and 5 1/2" on long side.
Silver Foil = 4 1/4" x 1 1/8"
Click on the box below to hop on over to Linda Moore's blog to see another sensational Sneak Peek project using brand new product from our Holiday Mini coming soon. Be sure to click on each 'Next Blog' box to see a total of 15 fabulous projects.

FRI - YAY!!! Yay, it's here. Friday. Are you ready for the weekend? I sure am. It's been quite a busy week so I'm looking forward to a little rest & relaxation and time with friends and family this weekend.
I have a wonderful Free Friday Download for you today. This one features a fun twist on using the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder. I actually used the de-bossed side of the card stock after running it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Bloom Hybrid Die. Who would have thought that simply turning over embossed card stock would give us a whole new look for a card. I love it. I love the simple elegance of this card. The layers of Just Jade with Basic White and the Just Jade gingham ribbon are just the right amount of color without taking away from the simplicity or elegance of this card. Add a sentiment for just about any occasion you can think of or use it as is for a note card. Enjoy the photos but don't forget to click on the link to download your free PDF to make this card.
Have you heard about a new category of Embossing Folder? Let me introduce you to Stampin' Up!'s Hybrid Embossing Folder. A hybrid embossing folder gives you the luxury of die cutting and embossing in one easy step. In the following Facebook Live Video Replay, I demonstrate the Art in Bloom Bundle which consists of the Art in Bloom Stamp Set and the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder. Note that the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder comes with a set of 9 dies that coordinates with both Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Stamp Set. You can use the dies separately, the embossing folder separately, or use them both together to cut and emboss flowers in just one easy step! Take a look at my demonstration to see just how amazing and versatile this new product is. While the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder is the only one of its kind in the annual, you can look forward to another Hybrid Embossing Folder in the Holiday Mini Catalog which launches August 3rd.
Sponge Daubers make it easy to add color to emboss images. I used Clear Wink of Stella for a bit of shimmer on my daisies.
I love the bright Poppy Parade flowers and Granny Apple Green leaves against the Balmy Blue DSP from the You're A Peach DSP collection.
The Gold Bumblebee Trinkets add a sweet finishing touch to these cards.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I appreciate you viewing my post. Have a great weekend.
It's pretty cold in central Ohio this week and a snowstorm is on its way. Fortunately, my plan is to stay in and work and craft the weekend away. I'll even have a couple friends here for crafting. While I do enjoy a beautiful snowfall, I do dream of days by the beach with sunny skies, warm breezes, and shelling. Our Stampin' Up! Sand & Sea Suite make creating beach themed paper crafts easy and fun. Today's post shows a 2-page scrapbook layout featuring the fun beach and seashell products from the Sand & Sea Suite. My Facebook Live video replay below shows you just how I made this layout and includes and couple of different ways you can add color to the beautiful Pearlescent Paper I used for the seashells. I hope you'll take a look at the video and be inspired by my demonstration.
An alternate use for these scrapbook pages would be to frame and display them with your favorite beach day memories. They make wonderful gifts too.
I love the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper used as the sky and beach for this layout.
The Seaside Seashells 3D Embossing Folder has exquisite detail. Adding a bit of color with Blending Brushes and ink brings out the details even more.
The various colors of ink on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper bring the seashells and plants to life beautifully!

It's true. Friends are like seashells, each unique and amazing and beautiful in their own way. Like seashells, we collect these friends through our life's journey and treasure them and the memories that brought us together through the years. There is so much to love about the Sand & Sea Suite in our January - June Mini Catalog but my favorite parts of it are the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle and Pearlescent Specialty Paper. These products combined with Sahara Sand card stock and foil sheets helped me create simple yet stunning cards, each slightly different.
Please enjoy this video replay of my January 21st Facebook Live. I hope you will be inspired to create and perhaps even learn something new as you view this video.
This first card couldn't be anymore simple. I cut a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper 5 1/4" x 4" and embossed it with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to my Sahara Sand card base. The card really shows off the details of this embossing folder. Simple and so very elegant.
The two cards below show a side-by-side comparison of my first card and my second card. Again, I started with a piece of Pearlescent Specialty Paper, this time cutting it to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I then die cut it using my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the large Seaside Seashells Die. Next, I placed my die cut paper into the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (matching up the shells, etc) and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine again. I then used my Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the die cut & embossed Pearlescent Paper to a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Sahara Sand Foil. Layers were then adhered to a Sahara Sand card base. I used Basic White card stock cut to 5 1/4" x 4" on the inside of the card.
Just love this sentiments. What a wonderful analogy.
Do you see the difference in each of the following 3 cards. The difference is the stamping. The first card (center front) was not stamped at all. On the second card (upper left), I "stamped off" each of the seashells with Sahara Sand ink. One the third card (upper right), I stamped each of the seashells in Sahara Sand ink at full strength. TIP: For the 2nd and 3rd cards, you want to die cut, then stamp shells, set ink with Heat Tool, and then emboss with 3d Seashells Embossing Folder.
Stampin' Up! products featured in today's post - Click on any link to be directed to my online store.
There are so many reasons I love card making. I get to use amazing coordinating products in an array of fabulous colors and themes too numerous to name or count. I get to belong to a community of creative people who understand my love for stamping and paper crafting and inspire me to keep on stamping and creating. I get to express myself creatively and add my own personal touch to my correspondences. I get to inspire and teach others to enjoy stamping and paper crafting like I do. Best of all, card making keeps me spreading love, kindness, and happy thoughts in challenging times by sending the hand stamped cards I've made.
I made this beautiful set of cards to let friends and family they are thought of and loved. They feature the Hydrangea Hill Suite and Happy Thoughts Stamp Set - 2 of my favorite new products in the new January - June Mini Catalog. I hope you love these cards as much as I do. If so, you can download the Free Project Sheet I created for you.
So many beautiful details make this card AMAZING. Embossed card stock, Vellum, elegant sheer ribbon, and Pastel Pearls - I love them all. What a beautiful sentiment this is to send love and caring thoughts. I love that the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set (and so many others) have sentiments to coordinate for the outside and inside of our handmade cards.
