For my ICS Sale-A-Bration blog post, I chose to showcase the beautiful and very versatile Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper that you can get FREE with a $50 US order during Sale-A-Bration.  It's a great compliment to the Peaceful Deer Bundle (stamp set & punch) in our Holiday Mini Catalog. The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set also from the Holiday Mini Catalog. You can purchase the Peaceful Deer Bundle and the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set and get the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper FREE when you order with me through September 30th!

Peaceful Prints DSP with Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set & Deer Builder Punch by Stampin' Up! - Mary Knabe

You could easily swap out the holiday greeting for "Happy Birthday" making the Peaceful Prints DSP and Peaceful Deer Bundle even more versatile. Can you think of another sentiment you might use on this card?

A strip of Designer Series Paper makes it easy to add a little something extra to the inside of your card.

I love all the details on this card - from the red & black buffalo check to the layers to the black scalloped circle to the rhinestone and Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon. All these elements work so well together without them distracting from the 2 focal points, the deer punched from the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper and the beautifully scripted Merry Christmas sentiment.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Hope Box

It's the last Tuesday of the month which means it's time for another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. This month's blog hop features 13 alternate projects for the August Hope Box Kit.

6a01b8d1640c2c970c0282e10c6bfa200b-800wi

Once again, I used my Paper Pumpkin Kit to create a 2-page scrapbook layout. I think it's perfect to capture special memories of fun and friendship; a journey of faith, hope, and courage; and so much more! I started by cutting apart one of each of the card bases and envelopes then added die cuts and embellishments included in the kit. Easy Peasy!

For my ICS Sale-A-Bration blog post, I chose to use the Feels Like Home Stamp Set. You can get this stamp set FREE with a qualifying order of $50 US (before sh & tax). I think it's so pretty and has a homey, vintage look about it. I made two cards to show you that you can color the stamped image as I did with my Stampin' Blends or keep it simple without coloring it at all. You could also color just one part of the stamped image leaving the rest untouched to "spotlight" the red door or blue bicycle. No matter how you use this Feels Like Home Stamp Set, you're sure to bring a smile to those receiving your hand stamped cards.

The Timeworn 3D Embossing Folders works great for a vintage like background on this card.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities The Adventure Begins

6a01b8d1640c2c970c026bdec61288200c-500wi

Stampin' Up!'s introductory video to the July The Adventure Begins Paper Pumpkin Kit:

WELCOME to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop. The July The Adventure Begins Paper Pumpkin Kit is full of creative elements waiting to be played with. My oldest daughter recently got engaged when she in her boyfriend spent a weekend in Hocking Hills. I chose to make a 2-page scrapbook layout with my kit. I'll add pictures Andrea and Jon took on their special engagement weekend.

The Adventure Begins - July 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I used Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper for the two 12" x 12" pages. I think these sky and woodgrain prints coordinate nicely with all the elements of The Adventure Begins Kit. I'm really pleased with how nice these pages turned out.

The Adventure Begins - July 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit

I cut apart 1 of each of the 3 fun fold cards included in the kit, then layered the two pieces of printed paper for each with Stampin' Dimensionals. The white center panel of each fun fold card, I cut down to 5 1/4" x 4" and mounted them on 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Garden Green card stock to place photos on.

Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - Sneak Peeks

212049622_10219719043708496_5893127899089061058_n

The Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Challenge for today was to showcase a new product from the 2021 Holiday Mini Catalog which launches on August 3rd. By viewing all the blogs in this blog hop, you'll get lots of Sneak Peeks of wonderful new products to come and great samples too.

My card below features 3 brand new products coming in our Holiday Mini Catalog - the Thinking Thanks & Peace Stamp Set, Silver Foil Specialty Paper, and White Glittered Organdy Ribbon. I stamped with VersaMark Ink, added Silver Embossing Powder, then applied heat with our Heat Tool. The dove was colored with Clear Wink of Stella for a little shimmer. To me, this card shows the same simplicity and beauty as the Peace on Earth message itself.

ICS July Blog Hop Fun with Designer Series Paper

75311710_10223556748213755_3554725622583513084_n

The theme of this months' ICS Blog Hop is Fun with Designer Series Paper. Right up my alley! I LOVE creating with DSP and usually grab it first when I sit down to start creating something new. I especially love that each pack of DSP gives me color combinations to use. This takes so much of the guess work out of creating. Of course, each pack of DSP has gorgeous images and patterns to go with their own unique theme. For my post for this month's Fun with Designer Series Paper blog hop, I've chosen to use the Tidings of Christmas DSP from our current Annual Catalog (pages 88-89, 133).

Tidings of Christmas Suite by Stampin' Up!

There are so many beautiful prints in the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. I love the color palette as well which includes Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent, and Basic White.
Tidings of Christmas Suite by Stampin' Up!

The Holly & Berries Dies are such a great addition to the Christmas Trimmings Dies. You could even use our Red Rhinestones in place of the Cherry Cobbler die cut berries.

  • Card base = 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4" on LONG side, fold in half.

  • Evening Evergreen = 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
  • DSP = 5" x 3 3/4"

  • DSP for die cutting Tasteful Label Die = 3 3/4" x 2"

Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - Birthday

Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

I'm excited to be participating in my first Stampin' with Friends Blog Hop. A Card Sketch Challenge with a Birthday Theme is the focus of this blog hop. I created my own card sketch (my first of many, I hope) and then designed a birthday card with it. My card features products from the Pansy Petals Suite and one of our newest In Colors, Fresh Freesia. I hope you like this card as much as I loved designing it.

Pansy Petals Suite by Stampin' Up!

Such a pretty card for a spring birthday or simply for someone who loves flowers in general or pansies specifically.

The pansies were cut from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper using the small pansy die cut from the Pansy Dies. I fussy cut the small leaves from another print in the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper pack. I placed a small Pale Papaya rhinestone from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels in the center of each pansy for a bit of bling. I wrapped Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon around the entire card front and tied a knot at the right side. The sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set was stamped in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White card stock then punched with the Double Oval Punch. I decided to layer white on white ovals.

I die cut another small pansy from Pansy Petals DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card for an added touch.

Paper Pumpkin Batter Up

As you can see, I made 3 cards, 1 each of the 3 designs in the Paper Pumpkin directions. I then cut the card bases down the center and used the 3 card fronts as focal points while the white pieces can be for photos and/or journaling special memories of a ballgame or of your favorite ball player. I added Real Red and Bumblebee card stock layers cut to 5 3/4"  x 4 1/2" behind the card fronts.

You can punch the ends of the small Real Red rectangles included in the Paper Pumpkin kit with your Banners Pick a Punch.

Here are some close up views of various parts of my scrapbook pages. I enjoyed embellishing the pages with the red and yellow resin dots included in this month's Batter Up kit.
