Here's a fun Stampin' Up! video showcasing the May 2022 Celebrating In Color Paper Pumpkin Kit. The kit includes contents to make 10 cards, 10 gift card holders, or a combination of both cards and gift card holders. I'm excited as I always need gift card holders. Or you can use the contents of your kit and your own imagination and creativity to come up with some unique, one-of-a-kind projects. No matter what you create, I have a feeling you'll have lots of fun with this latest Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Here are my alternate cards. For this PPP blog post, I challenged myself to make 2 different cards using "throw away" pieces as stencils. It took some thinking "outside of the box" to create these, but I'm happy with the results.

The photos below show how I made each of my cards.

The Stamparatus was very useful in holding my stencil and card stock in place while I applied the In Color ink to each of the 5 spaces using Sponge Daubers.

I then used the Stamparatus to stamp the large sentiment.

I cut the inked & stamped card stock to 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". Basic White layer measures 3 3/8" x 4 5/8". Basic Black layer is 4" x 5 1/4". Basic White Thick card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" on long side.

I used the piece left over from punching out the large banner die cut as my stencil for the next card.

After applying the ink, I removed the stencil, then cut along the straight lines of the large banner and adhered it to Basic White card stock measuring 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". Basic Black card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4" on long side.

Mary, your cards are fun! I love that you used daubers for the background in those three distinctive colors. Both cards are so cheerful. Enjoy your day!
