Penguin Place Holiday Tree Project Sheet
Painted Christmas Gift Card Holders

1 Sheet of DSP for 9 Gift Cards Holders

I want to show you how to make 9 festive Gift Card Holders quickly and easily with just 1 sheet of your favorite Designer Series Paper. In this Facebook Live Video Replay you'll see that I used my favorite sheet in the Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper pack with card stock in coordinating colors of Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, and Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is part of the Holly Jolly Wishes Stamp Set. The finished size of each Gift Card Holder is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and fit in our standard envelopes. It's so fun to mix & match colors and patterns for your own handmade gift card holders. What a fun way to give gift card holders in pretty packaging that is sure to add to the delight of your gift card recipients. So watch my video then give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how quickly you can make a set of 9 gift card holders.

Cutting & Scoring Dimensions:

  • Card stock = 4 1/4" x 11", score at 1 1/4" and 5 1/2" on long side.
  • White card stock for inside = 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Designer Series Paper = 4" x 4"
  • Designer Series Paper Strip = 1 1/4" x 4"

Did you know I often give away the cards I make in my Facebook Lives? The photo below shows three gift card holders made in my December 3, 2021, Facebook Live that were sent to 3 lucky winners.

On these gift card holders, I decided to heat emboss the sentiment with Silver Embossing Powder. It compliments the metallic silver in the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper. It's so elegant.
