I don't know about you, but with all the stressed and changes of this year, I sure am looking forward to the holidays. I'm getting an early start on all my holiday paper crafting. Here's a look at two of my recently created cards. These Holiday Gnomes are just toooooooo cuuuuuuuute. I can hardly stand it. I smile every time I look at them. This layout is so easy to replicate with a piece of DSP for the background and 3 coordinating strips of DSP. And the Layering Oval Dies are just perfect for showing off these cute holiday gnomes.
I love the Gnome for the Holiday Stamp Set combined with the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. I used coordinating Stampin' Blends to color. You can find cutting dimensions and supplies below the photos.
I think Ms. Gnome is excited to start her holiday decorating, baking, and stamping, of course. Isn't she cute with that little snicker on her face.
I used a Sponge Dauber and Daffodil Delight ink pad to "illuminate" the star.
Mr. Gnome is ready to trim the tree.
I often times like to make my inside layer match the card front layer. The Whisper White card stock on the inside of my card measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", the same size as my DSP on the front of the card.
Just another look at these two cuties...
- Mossy Meadow Card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" on long side, folded in half.
- Heartwarming Hugs DSP is 3 3/4" x 5 1/2".
- 3 coordinating DSP strips are 1/2" x 6". They will extend over the left and right sides when adhering, then just trim as necessary.
- Whisper White on inside of card is 3 3/4" x 5 1/2".
