I, like all of you I'm sure, LOVE to get Happy Mail. This week I received a fabulous fun fold card created by my Merry Stampers Team Member Kiki Nickloes. And it came just in time last Thursday as I still needed to come up with an idea for my Friday Facebook Live. So I quickly CASE'd Kiki's miss you card and made a celebrate you card copying her fun fold. In my September 18th Facebook Live, I showed my sample card then demonstrated this wonderful fun fold. Both of my cards feature the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, but different stamp sets for different occasions. Check out my video, then get ready to make some new fun fold cards of your own.
The card below featuring the Way to Goat Stamp Set was sent to me by Merry Stampers Team Member Kiki Nickloes. It's the card I CASE'd for my September 18th Facebook Live Fun Fold Friday demonstration.
I love how Kiki's fun fold card shows off her Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper.
The Celebration card below is the first card I made by CASEing Kiki's card above.
I never tire of sunflowers. They always make me smile.
The photo below shows a picture of the card from the top. It's very similar to a standard Z-Fold card but with slightly different scoring dimensions.
The photo below shows the backside of my card.
The following card also uses the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper as did the card above.
I love the pops of Real Red in the holly berries and the sheer ribbon bow.
One of my all-time favorite Christmas sayings!
There so much beauty and interest to the card from the fun fold to the finishing details on the outside and inside of the card.

Yep, that's me. Just a girl with goals! And right now, I'm just a girl with a last big goal for the current Stampin' Up! year and only 10 days left to reach that goal.
This is a last quarter personal sales goal. I am about $1100 short of meeting this goal. If I reach my goal, I plan to invest the bonus I will receive into purchasing a new and improved, heavy duty paper cutter. This cutter will allow me to cut several packages of card stock at one time. (My current paper cutter, limits me to 12 sheets at a time.) Spending less time cutting card stock for classes and events will give me more time to plan & design more classes & events, Facebook Lives, & YouTube videos, as well as spend more time training & coaching my team while still growing my own business.
I am asking for your help and would appreciate any support you can give.
Any and all orders will receive a surprise SU! gift from me AND for every $50 you order between now and September 30th, you will receive an entry into my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Giveaway. That's right I'd like to give away a New Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Wouldn't you love to be the winner of this cool new tool?
September Host Code for Online Orders: QPQPQJVG Please use the monthly host code when placing an online order at www.maryknabe.stampinup.net. ***Do not use Host Code when ordering $150+ as you will receive Stampin' Rewards. I will still send you my monthly SU! gift and enter you into the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Giveaway.
With gratitude for all my stampinpeace.com followers, wonderful customers, a dedicated team, and a job I love, I wish you peace.

This Tri-Fold Shutter card is so much fun to make. After making my first one, I just knew I had to share it. This video replay of my September 16th Facebook Live includes a step-by-step demonstration so you can make Tri-Fold Shutter Cards too. They may look intimidating, but with my demonstration and tips, you'll see that it's quite easy to make.
The Tri-Fold Shutter cards in this video and post feature the So Sentimental Bundle from the Annual Catalog and the very beautiful Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper which is just one product in the gorgeous Poinsettia Place Suite in our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. I love mixing and matching products from different catalogs and suites for more creative possibilities.
Enjoy my video demonstration then get to work making a Tri-Fold Shutter Card of your own. I'd love to have you share your creation with me and others on my Stampin' Peace VIP Facebook Group.
I love how these Tri-Fold Shutter Cards turned out that I have a feeling I'll be making lots more of them.
The sentiment and label shapes are from the So Sentimental Bundle, one of my all time favorites.
I used three different patterns from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper pack for this card. You can, however, use up to 4 or 5 different papers if you really want to show off your Designer Series Papers.
The Holiday Rhinestones and Forever Greenery Ribbon make great embellishments of these cards. Little details like these can make a good card great!
View of Tri-Fold Shutter card from the top.
This view shows the back of my Tri-Fold Shutter Card. I added some Whisper White card stock for writing a message. Tri-Fold Shutter cards are great for sending from a group of people. There's plenty of room on the back for lots of well wishes and signatures.
Do you see the slight difference in this card from the one pictured above? I introduced a 4th paper pattern for the center section of the card.

For today's Quick Tip Tuesday. I'll show you how to create seamless belly bands for all your Little Treats Boxes. It's so easy to give your paper crafts a more finished and professional look when you "hide" your seams. Let me show you in today's Quick Tip Tuesday video. You'll then be able to apply this tip to all your belly band projects. To see a video demonstration of putting the Little Treats Boxes together with a few tips and fun examples, use this link to my September 3rd, 2020, blog post: https://bit.ly/3jIjQwX. The possibilities for treat boxes and table favors for holidays and special occasions are endless when you have the Little Treats Bundle from Stampin' Up! And your party goers will love the creative flair you add to your holidays and celebrations with these Little Treats Boxes.
If you look very, very closely, you can see my DSP seam along the left corner edge. Others will not even notice it, though, as they will be impressed by your creativity, and even more excited to see what's inside their Little Treat Boxes.
Roll up a few dollar bills, wrap and tie a bow with Baker's Twine or fine ribbon, and tuck inside this little box for a creative way to give birthday money!
What occasion would you use this Little Treats Box for? What kind of sweet treat would you put in it?
These 2 Little Treats Boxes are simply elegant. I think they'd make wonderful table favors for a bridal shower, wedding, or anniversary. Perhaps, a tiny bag of mints would make a nice treat for these.
Silver Foil hearts popped up with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals add an elegant touch to these Little Treats Boxes.
The solitaire ring die cut from Silver Foil is so fun. Wow! So cute for an engagement party or bridal shower.
Be sure to check out all the stamps and dies in the Little Treats Bundle to create fabulous favors to help you and your family and friends celebrate holidays and special occasions.
My mother was a stickler for her kids sending thank you notes. Present times were also thank you note times. Birthdays, holidays, First Communion, Graduations - no matter the occasion, if we were given a gift of any sort, we were made to sit down and write a than you note. There was no getting out of it. Funny thing is, I liked writing to people, even thank you notes. I wrote letters to my cousin Rose who lived a couple hours away. I wrote to out of town grandparents and other relatives. I also learned to appreciate and cherish the thank you cards and hand written notes I received from others. My parents are both deceased, Dad 30 years and Mom 4 years), how grateful I am that I have letters they each wrote me in college plus a few cards I kept from my mom in her last few years. I love seeing their words written in their own handwriting.
I'm so grateful for the opportunities I have as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator of 12 years to share card making with others. It gives us all, the opportunity to be creative and to reach out to others and spread kindness. I have no doubt our handmade cards are appreciated as we have created them with love. I believe the words we write in them carry just as much power as people just want to know they are thought of, loved, and appreciated.
I've have worked hard this year in being more consistent with sending my Stampin' Up! customers a handmade card and a little Stampin' Up! gift each month as a small token of my appreciation for supporting me in my Stampin' Peace business. This way they get a little something to help them keep on stamping and making cards. And they have an extra handmade card in their stash to use when needed. I have gotten lots of positive feedback from doing this which I love, and it keeps me motivated to continue doing it into the future.
I wanted to find just the right card to use up some Retired Braided Burlap Trim. I think it looks great paired with the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. Some alternate ribbon choices include Braided Linen Trim, Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon, and Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack all from the current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog (pgs 160-161).
There are so many beautiful shades of green in the beautiful Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up. They are Garden Green, Just Jade, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce, and Soft Seafoam. Which ones do you see in these cards?
In my August 31st Make It With Mary Monday Facebook Live, I combined two of my favorite card making elements - fun fold cards and gift card holders. Take a look at my video replay to learn how to make it, then create a few of your own to use now or to make and use later, perhaps in the upcoming holiday season or for a future special occasion.
