Decorative Mask Techniques with Frosted Forest

Dimensions: Frosted Forest Decorative Mask Cards:

  • Card base = 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
  • Basic White inside = 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White for stamping = 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Card stock layer = 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″

And because I was asked in the FB Live Demonstration what the tree would look like if it were stamped before blending colors with the Decorative Masks, here’s a look at another card. As you can see, stamping the tree first gives us the fine details in the tree trunk and the detailed edging around the tree branches/leaves. Which way do you prefer? Do you like the softer look of using just the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks or do you prefer the more bold, defined look of using the Frosted Forest Stamp followed by the Decorative Masks.
