Cutting Dimensions for my Stepped Up Cards:
- Card bases = 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ on long side, fold in half.
- Basic White for use with Embossing Folder = 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Basic White card stock for sentiment = 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
- Pool Party card stock = 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
- Basic White scraps for stamping and die cutting foliage on 5th card
- Gray Granite scraps for die cutting leaves on 5th card
My vision to show you easy ways to take your cards from simple to sensational started with this simple card, At first, I made a simple yet elegant white on white card to showcase the stunning Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder with just a bit of color using Pool Party ink for the sentiment. Then I decided to make the sentiment “pop” by putting a little of the Pool Party ribbon behind it. And then the ideas just kept coming and coming and what followed was the next 4 cards. As you look at the following cards, notice the progression and simple changes I made to each, therefore taking my one simple, yet elegant card to better and better and better and ending with sensational! And you know what.? I love every single one of these and so will the people receiving them!
