It’s always fun to gift others with a little chocolate treat. With Valentine’s Day coming up, I have a fun valentine treat for you to make and share. It’s simple to make and very affordable. Plus it can easily be adapted to other holidays or special occasions like birthday, graduations, baby showers, and more. It could also be given as a simple “pick me up” to co-workers, book club members, or friends.
In the video, I’ll show you a couple versions of this valentine treat favor, my favorite being the ones that feature the amazing Alphabest Stamp Set and coordinating Best Label Punch. As you’ll see in my demonstration below, the Alphabest Bundle makes it easy to customize your treats for a specific holiday or theme or with the names of family, friends, and loved ones..
My Valentine Treats Demonstration:
Valentine Treats Cutting Dimensions:
- DSP strips for chocolate nuggets = 1″ x 3″
- Basic White card stock tray to hold 5 chocolate nuggets = 1 7/8″ x 5″, score each long side at 1/4″ (Adjust length of white card stock tray for a different number of chocolate nuggets used, 1″ per nugget.)
- Cellophane bags are considered “pretzel bags or candy bags” and measure 2 1/4″ x 8 1/2″
Using different but coordinating Designer Series Paper strips from the Country Floral Lane DSP Pack made for a fun and festive looking Valentine Treat Favor. Have your little ones help with placing the chocolates in the pattern you establish.
The Alphabest Stamp Set and Best Label Punch can be used to customize this type of treat or party favor for any holiday or occasion adding to the celebration fun.
I used the Alphabest Bundle to personalize the treats above with the names of friends I recently attended a scrapbooking retreat with. It made for a simple and fun surprise.
