When I first saw the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set and coordinating Hippo Dies in the July – August Sale-A-Bration Brochure, I just knew I had to have them. What I didn't know, though, was just how much fun I would have with them. In the following Facebook Live video replay, I'll show you how to color the hippos and then make a card that is "cuteness overload". ***Please note that this video isn't quite up to my usual. Facebook Live was giving me fits and not letting see my usual screen with the buttons to manage the FB Live. (Facebook has been making LOTS of updates and changes that I was still trying to learn and navigate.) So…you'll see things a bit backwards…like me being left-handed which I'm not. ;) But, with a little patience and understanding from my viewers, I powered through, and it ended up not being so bad. AND I think I have the new FB changes figured out for my next Facebook Live.
Cutting & Scoring Dimensions:
- Card base = 7" x 8 1/2", score at 3 1/2" on short side
- Basic White card stock = 8 1/8" x 3 1/8" (cut 2)
- DSP = 8" x 3"
- DSP or card stock for grass = 3" x 1", tear along one long side
The card below is my original sample. I really like it but the cute hippos are competing with a busy background. I think I like the more subtle Balmy Blue background on the card above.
