Welcome to the November Inspire Create Share Christmas is Coming Blog Hop. All of the projects were created to inspire your Christmas card making and crafting.
For this blog hop post, I wanted to do something very different by using an often overlooked product – Paper Lattices. I've used this product in a couple of different ways so far. The first was as a back drop for cards featuring the Bloom Where You're Planted Suite. Recently I created a fall thank you card by weaving strips of Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive card stock through a Paper Lattice making the Paper Lattice the focal point of the card.
For this post, I created a card by weaving 2 pieces of Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2" Ribbon through the Paper Lattice – one horizontally and one vertically. I then added a bow of the same ribbon and a small stamped "gift tag" for a Christmas "present" card. I love the way this turned out. It's pretty. It's elegant. It uses my all time favorite red – Cherry Cobbler. The ribbon weaving was easy as the Paper Lattices are more sturdy than you'd think. And this card is quick to make.
I later got to thinking that this would be a fun card to give a gift card. Simply add a card stock or DSP pocket to the inside. And if I can make a Christmas present card, why not make birthday present card too. The possibilities are endless.
TIP: Use a small dot of Multipurpose Glue on each little solid diamond shape on the back of the Paper Lattice to adhere it to your card front.
Now it's time for you to continue blog "hopping" for more wonderful holiday ideas to inspire you.

I have purchased the paper lattice and really have not found a use for them other than with Plentiful Plants. I love the way you used them to weave the ribbon through. Your card is both simple and beautiful.
