Copper Maple Leaf take 2

Here it is. Take two on my Copper Maple Leaf Card from my May 22 blog post. I used the same card lay out but changed out the colors and a few products. This is a very simple example of what we call CASEing in the Stampin' Up! world. CASE is short for Copy And Share Everything. It is defined as finding inspiration from a card or other project and making it yourself using some of the original components. With social media so prevalent nowadays, we are at no loss for creative ideas. We don't have to reinvent the wheel. It really is ok to copy an idea and feel free to share it. Kindly give credit where credit is due, though, if you post to social media, etc., especially if you copy an idea exactly. Give CASEing a try today! Chances are you are probably already doing it. You just didn't have a fancy name for it.

Old Olive card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" on the long side.

Shimmery White card stock is 5 1/4" x 4".

Copper Foil square is 2 1/8" x 2 1/8".  You'll need another piece approximately 2" x 4 1/4" to cut out the solid and detailed maple leaves.

Old Olive square is 2" x 2" from the Color Theory 6" x 6" DSP Stack.

Shimmery White square is cut using the second smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
