Two Banners in One

For today's Festive Friday, I'm showing you a 2-in-1 Banner.  I created two banners to decorate my fireplace for Halloween and Fall.  The 2 banners are actually back to back.  I punched holes in each of the FALL banner pieces, then wove the Kraft Rope Trim through each piece and taped securely on back.  I chose to put the trim through the FALL banner pieces because it coordinates with the colors in the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The BOO banner pieces do not have holes punched in them or have trim strung through them.  I simply attached the BOO banner pieces to the back of the Fall banner using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Please note that I used the largest of the Banner Framelits to make my banner pieces.

The vampire's vest and cross can be colored with Stampin' Write Markers or with ink pads and Blender Pens.

I crumbled the fall leaves before attaching them to my banner pieces.  Sponging around the ovals, helps them pop off the paper. Making banners is a great way to get the whole family involved in creating holiday and party decorations for your home, school, or office. Get a group of people together to host a banner making party.  Let me show you how!

I love this idea of creating 2 banners in 1.  I'll be doing it with my Christmas/Valentine's Day banners too. I'll be sure to post pictures of them when I start my Christmas decorating.
