Roses are Red Heart with Spiral Flower Original Die

I enjoyed pulling out my Big Shot and Spiral Flower Original Die to make this Valentine decoration.

Make your roses first.  This will be a "guesstimate" as the number of roses you will need will depend on the size frame you are using and the size of the heart you want to make.  (I used a 9" x 9" frame.)  Remember, your roses don't have to be "perfect" or exactly the same sizes.  They aren't in nature, so they don't need to be in hand made crafts either.

Cut your background card stock to fit your frame.  Draw in a heart.  Then begin attaching your roses with hot glue.  I formed the outline of the heart first and then filled in the middle.  I love how it turned out.  I finished my project by adding a bit of glue to the center of each rose and sprinkled in some retired Red Glitter I had on hand.  You could also simply punch a small red circles from Red Glimmer Paper for an alternative to the red glitter.
